Franklin Institute Science Museum: Built in the honor of Benjamin Franklin, the museum features a big marble statue of Franklin in one of the major halls. The museum has displays of Franklin`s experiments mostly concerned with physical basis of technology. Visitors are offered to try their own experiments in many fields like IT, space travel, computers and astronomy.

Eastern State Penitentiary: Built in 1829, the penitentiary was built to rehabilitate criminals. When it was opened, it was considered to be one of the most advanced and sophisticated prisons. Now, it has been closed since 1971 and open to visitors as a tourist attraction with guides showing sections that are still in the same shape as they were when the facility was active.

Fairmount Park: The Fairmount Park is a lovely park featuring famous attractions such as the Rodin Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art and Garden and Philadelphia Zoo.
