There’s reassuring news for people travelling to countries in the Middle East. The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has updated the travel advice to the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. You can now see your favourites back in the list for the summer holidays.
The Updated Travel Advice to the Middle East:
The FCDO no longer advises against all but essential travel to the UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. Regional conflicts have recently impacted travel plans across the Middle East, and some flights to the Gulf region from the UK were affected; travellers either amended bookings by rescheduling or cancelled them for a full refund.
If your flight is scheduled from 1st July onwards, you can go ahead with complete peace of mind. All regular terms and conditions associated with flying to the Middle East apply, and there’s nothing further you need to know.
Most airlines are gradually restoring flights to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Doha as the situation across the region stabilises. Some airlines have also announced the revised schedules and frequencies, so it’s worth checking with our travel consultant for the latest availability.
Meanwhile, our teams are closely monitoring the situation, and if anything changes regarding the travel advisory, we will contact our customers to assist in every possible way. Rest assured, all bookings with Travelhouseuk are fully protected under the ATOL and ABTA schemes. Speak to one of our travel consultants today to get your summer travel sorted.
