Starting October 2025, Virgin Atlantic is all set to resume flight operations to Pakistan from the United Kingdom.
The British carrier will relaunch its flights to three major cities in Pakistan: Karachi, Islamabad, and Lahore. All flights will be operated via Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This move is appreciated by the British Pakistani at large since they now have an additional option for flights to Pakistan alongside PIA, British Airways, and Middle Eastern carriers, including Emirates, Etihad Airways, and Qatar Airways. With the restoration of flight services to Pakistan, air connectivity between Pakistan and the UK has strengthened more than ever.
Previously, Virgin Atlantic had suspended its flight operations to Pakistan in 2023.
A spokesperson for the airline had said: “As we continue to ramp up our flying programme in 2023, we’ve taken the opportunity to review our entire network and decided to make a few changes.”
The relaunch of flight services to Pakistan will support business travellers as well as visitors and tourists for both countries.
