If you are in Europe then Morocco might just be a short hop away by ferry or by one of the cheap direct flights, but culturally it\u2019s a much further distance to travel. It is the easiest place you can get to observe the colours of the culture of Africa and Islam. Casablanca is the trade and business hub of the country but it has many things that you will find attractive here. It offers a rich nightlife and a luxurious shopping experience.<\/p>\n

The fishing port gems of Asalih and\u00a0Essouria are a great place to observe the Hispano-Moorish architecture of Morocco. Inland, you will find the great imperial cities of\u00a0Marakkesh and Fez that attract visitors in thousands as they have done for centuries. The winding streets of these ancient cities have enough surprises around each corner to make you take a dozen repeat trips. Away from the urban areas, you\u2019ll find Roman ruins and stunning landscapes.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not it; Morocco has a lot of hidden jewels to attract your attention. The High Atlas Mountains are perfect for hiking, with endless trails between Berber villages, and North Africa\u2019s highest peak, Jebel Toubkal to conquer. Or you can simply saddle up on a camel and ride it straight into the Sahara, to watch the sun setting over a stunning ocean of sand.<\/p>\n

To get a break from your daily routine and to get a change from your surroundings, Morocco is the closest place you can go to which offers a lot to its visitors.
