The national carrier of Thailand<\/a>, Thai Airways is a promising Asian airline, on the road to becoming a Global Carrier. Thai Airways is long known for its quality flights, high standard services and a vast flight network connecting Bangkok with London and rest of the world.<\/p>\n

Thai Air\u2019s recent advancement in the airline industry is likely to make it even bigger in the coming years. The airline has announced to acquire 37 planes by the year 2017. This big number when added to the existing fleet of 85 aircraft owned by Thai Air, will rise to 105! However, Thai will not keep that whole fleet, a mix of old and new crafts rather the carrier has expressed plans to replace the existing old models with new aeroplanes and hence, making its flight’s services even better and up to date.<\/p>\n

According to Mr Piyasvasti Amranand, some of the planes are nearly 20 years old and have to be retired, while others are pretty young.\u00a0 At present, Thai Airways is the first choice for travellers from Europe to book direct flights to Bangkok<\/a> and its other beach destinations including Phuket, Koh Samui and Krabi.<\/p>\n

Not only that but Thai Airways is ready to make things even bigger for it. The airline plans on introducing a new comfort level in its Economy. The concept first brought to life by Air New Zealand revolves around making a \u2018couch\u2019 class for a sleep tight flight and biggest leg room.<\/p>\n

However, until the delivery of its 37 new planes, Thai Airways will keep things cool whether it\u2019s the launch of new Business class seats, new economy product or its route extension.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
