The low cost carrier of Philippines, Cebu Pacific Airline increased its flight route and added more flights to and from the Asia Pacific Region last year. The Good News is that its expansion finally paid off as the airline has declared a 19% rise in passenger volume in 2010.<\/p>\n

Cebu Pacific Airline 19 percent year on year rise has taken its total to a 10.5 million hike which is a time for celebration for the budget carrier. According to the CEO, the carrier\u2019s new routes including flights to Beijing<\/a> and Brunei opened up the northern and Southeast Asian countries to CEB Passengers.<\/p>\n

In 2010, the airline also added more flights on successful routes like flights to Guangzhou the business capital of China, Shanghai, the tourism attraction and Hong Kong, the port and Shopping Hub of Asia. In an official statement released yesterday, Cebu Pacific Vice President Candice Iyog stated:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were able to grow our market to Hong Kong and Singapore by 29 percent and 45 percent respectively because of additional flight frequencies and our extensive network from Manila, Clark and Cebu<\/i>\u201d.<\/p>\n

Also, CEB Cebu Pacific Airline has scored high in International Passenger traffic that rose to 38 percent and numbered over 2.23 million last year. The airline\u2019s domestic passenger numbers climbed 15 percent higher to 8.23 million in comparison with 2009.<\/p>\n

The carrier operates direct flights between Cebu and the capital city of Philippines Manila.<\/p>\n
