British Airways has launched a massive South African seat sale to London, New York and Los Angeles, with return fares starting from R6758.<\/p>\n

The Big South African Sale runs until 15 October and offers discounted fares across its economy, premium economy and business class cabins with outbound travel anytime until 31 March 2011.<\/p>\n

“Bookings after the World Cup slowed as we expected them to, so we decided to reinvigorate South African travellers by unwrapping an early Christmas present,” says Sue Botes, British Airways\u2019 commercial manager in South Africa<\/a>.<\/p>\n

But she warns to book early, particularly over the popular holiday season as the discounted fares are likely to be snapped up fast.<\/p>\n

Prices to London from Johannesburg<\/a> range from R6758 for World Traveller to R30 406 in Club World. The equivalent fares from Cape Town are R7388 and R31 406. The fares to New York start from R8704 in World Traveller from Johannesburg to R45 236 in Club World from Cape Town.
