And I see, there are many tourist destinations in Africa which have not yet gained prominence over the years. Amongst such notable destinations with tourism potential, West Africa\u2019s forest region,\u00a0Ghana\u2019s capital<strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">,<\/strong>\u00a0Accra is vivacious and provides numerous relaxing activities. Being a backdrop for the\u00a0African independence in 1957, the country actually started to get fame to the tourist\u2019s world in the 21st century.<\/p>\n<p>The pristine beaches, lively nightlife, vibrant markets, and motivational art galleries are the certain key features of touring Accra that will have you hooked. The city, undoubtedly, gives a perfect reason to embark on the African adventure. While all the scenic attractions are the basis for tourism in Africa, what you would adore the most is the warm and sociable welcome by the people of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travelhouseuk.co.uk\/cheap-flights-to\/ghana\/\">Ghana<\/a>. You can always have it your own way, whether a dive in the sturdy waves of the sea or just bask in the shadow of palm trees, ride a horse through the coastal area or enjoy a romantic walk on sandy beaches, a taste of African cuisine or the delicacies of multi-ethnic gastronomy. Not to mention, the exquisite beaches are a true refreshing dip for the weary souls. Most locals, as well as tourists, appraise Labadi Beach; the beach hosts many bonfire parties at night as well as daytime family activities. Other significant beaches include Anomabo Beach Resort for the most scrumptious fresh seafood and pure sand, La Palm Resort Beach is best for a luxurious stay on your honeymoon trips and Coconut Groove Palm Beach usually attracts families and couples for romantic dinners.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"sneak-peak_into_historic_landmarks_of_accra\"><\/span>Sneak-peak into historic landmarks of Accra:<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Enriched with history and evolving culture, it\u2019s always an interesting idea to take a sneak-peak into such historic landmarks. Jamestown is the notable attraction that depicts the history of the Ghanaian state.\u00a0 This site is considered to be historic treasure which was established in the 17th century. Similarly, if you are kinda fond of souvenirs, head straight to Makola Market, where vendors are equipped with traditional African goods to sell.\u00a0 Usually, for a person to have travelling and photography passion is unanimous. So, clean the lens of your camera and make your way to the Independence Square, also known as Black Star Square, to take some great clicks.<\/p>\n<p>If I say, this is all I had on my tour to Accra; I would not be justifying my adventurous trip to the most happening city. Let\u2019s call it a day, and leave the rest on subsequent travellers to explore and experience on their own.
