Sapporo Snow Festival, one of the biggest snow festivals of its kind in Japan, has become a charmer of more than two million visitors all across the world, every year. Hokkaido greets the visitors, with splashing winter offer; a spectacular snow festival for seven consecutive days from Feb. 5th – Feb. 11th, 2014.<\/p>\n

Started back in 1950\u2019s, by some students Sapporo festival grew enormous popularity in and around the Japan<\/a>, later joined by self-defense force, which put its lion\u2019s share with gigantic snow sculptures to make the event into an ultimate carnival; where visitors get in not only to enjoy the snowfall but also make sculptures \u00a0and immerse in flurry\u00a0 activities. Such a humble beginning led the Sapporo festival towards an international snow festival.<\/p>\n

There are prime avenues for the unlimited entertainment: main site–Odori park, emblazed with an array of all size s of sculptures, carry certain renowned theme; Tsu Dome, which boasts snow rafting, slide shows, and bountiful activities for families.<\/p>\n
