One of Sydney\u2019s most beautiful beaches, the Bondi Beach is now, unfortunately, a victim of a rare yet dangerous phenomenon known as the \u2018Red Algae Bloom\u2019. This is also referred to as the \u2018noctiluca scintillans\u2019 as an official reference for all visitors availing cheap flights to Sydney<\/a>. Whilst it is not particularly harmful to humans and does not endanger any lives, it does have a high proportion of ammonia which can result in many sorts of skin irritations.<\/p>\n

Owing to this, people have been advised to avoid any sorts of contact with the water, at least for the time being. Some people are of the opinion that this bloom results in the water having a very fishy smell to it and other confirm that the most this phenomenon can do is cause skin irritation and does not have any toxic or hazardous effect as such.<\/p>\n

However, it is still reason enough to avoid swimming in the water or even to come in contact with it to avoid any undesirable situation at all. This beach, an epitome of fun, excitement and a truly refreshing ambience is to be avoided in the meantime but is likely to be reopened for normal activities very soon.<\/p>\n

All tourists have also been advised to keep away from the way now that the crimson tide has come close to the shore. It is surely unfortunate and a highly disappointing situation that we have regretfully come across and have had to inform you about but let\u2019s hope that the situation gets restored to normal as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Other beaches within Australia, however, are still open and equally entertaining so if you\u2019ve come to Australia for a true beach experience then it is still the best country to do so!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
