After announcing revised cuisines for the airline\u2019s in-flight menu under the JAL Air Series, JAL has announced its New Sky Project to establish new products and services offered during international flights. The JAL New Sky Project consists of a preliminary phase during which new seating arrangements will be established in 13 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The 777 series has been branded as JAL Sky Suite 777 by the airline.<\/p>\n

The first plane to get the overhaul in January 2013 would operate flights to London Heathrow Airport from Narita. The implementation would then be carried forward to 777 flights to North America<\/a><\/strong> and Europe successively. The premier highlight of the new arrangement is that new seats will be installed in the entire cabins throughout all the classes.<\/p>\n

First and business classes would have seats capable of deploying into wide beds along with 23-inch screens. JAL will also be setting new lavatory cabins and offering mattress pads on request in first and business classes. In its JAL Air Series, JAL will be promoting popular Japanese cuisine on its international flights.<\/p>\n

The airline has hired executive chefs while collaborating with restaurants including the likes of Air Taimeiken. Specialities will include Japanese cheese, beverages, and Bento boxes.
