David passed away six months after joining this department but his legacy and concern for wildlife lives on and has inspired many others to contribute their services and finances to aid the development of facilities that would, in effect, help save wildlife.<\/p>\n

Ever since its establishment in 1977, the trust has emerged as a significant charitable organization and has continued to make a significant impact in Kenya\u2019s overall conservational efforts. The trust successfully ensures that all donations are utilized to the fullest to provide the animals with a safe haven and a comfortable environment. The staff is well trained and passionate about ensuring the well being of the animals. The trust also focuses on formulating strategies to revive the unique and highly endangered black rhinos and prevent their extinction.
