Queen Elizabeth National Park is an amazing and excellent game reserve of Uganda which is situated in the western part of the country and is extremely famous for housing an exceptional and distinguished variety of wild life. Thousands of travelers take flights to Entebbe<\/a> <\/strong>to explore the most diversified and protected eco system of Africa which also features the interesting and amusing activities of abundant of animals. It is spreaded over a land area of approximately 1,978 square kilometres and consist of Bushenyi\u00a0, Rukungiri, Kamwenge and Kasese districts. Its complete stretch starts from the north-eastern region of Lake Gorge and it further extends to the south-western part of Lake Edward and it also comprises the Kazinga Channel that serves as a significant connection between the 2 cascaded lakes. The park was established in 1954 and got its name as an inspiration from the queen of England.<\/p>\n

Due to its immense bewitchment and distinguished features the park is commonly called as \u2018the Switzerland of Africa\u2019 or \u2018the peal of Africa\u2019. Apart from it, the Ishasha district that is situated in Rukungiri region is highly famous for the tree climbing lions that can rarely be sighted. Besides, this particular area also shelters the species of birds like Papyrus Canary, White-winged Terns, Pink-backed Pelicans, Black rumped Buttonquail, White-winged Warbler, Long-tailed Cormorants, African Mourning Dove, Black-headed Gonolek, and Grey-headed Kingfisher. The Kyambura\u00a0Gorge\u00a0that is located adjacent to the north-eastern outer part, acts as the actual \u2018\u2019Tarzan domain\u2019\u2019 where you will love to spot the dense tree canopies and hundreds of stems dangling downwards from the huge trees. The most striking feature is that it serves to be the home of naughty chimpanzees stroll and chatter in the green plantation.<\/p>\n
