Air Zimbabwe is not operational at the moment for International flights. Since Air Zimbabwe's crew went on strike in September 2010 and then Easter and summer holidays in 2011, there have been no updates regarding refunds of the affected passengers.
We have made continuous efforts to process and follow up our clients' behalf. However, due to the airline's struggling financial situation, they have not been able to refund this money so far. We have sent multiple requests to airline in April, June, August, September and the last one on 09th November 2011.
We will facilitate passengers, on courtesy basis, in applying for refund (which is already done by forwarding and communicating all client data to the airline) and whatever amount we receive back from airline (if and when) shall be paid back - provided the airline does not file bankruptcy. We cannot guarantee full refund or any particular time period for that matter, and shall not be liable for any loss of money at any point as per original terms of sale.
The refunds are with held by Air Zimbabwe as they lack funds, we won`t have any objection if clients want to sort out the pending partial refund directly with the airline, kindly contact the Air Zimbabwe at 01293602510 for any clarification. If they can consider clients case on an individual basis and refund clients directly, we do not have any objection and we can inform them of the same through email if clients reach an agreement about this.
