According to Zimbabwe aviation British Airways will resume  Zimbabwe flights in 2010.David Chaota CEO of Zimbabwe CAA confirmed that after negotiations British Airways has agreed to resume flights to Zimbabwe between March and April 2010.

Two years ago British Airways severed all ties with Zimbabwe , citing viability problems on the route. However, observers suspected it had been pressured by London, which opposed President Robert Mugabe’s government, to withdraw from Zimbabwe.Chaota said the return of British Airways would draw more tourists and airlines to Zimbabwe, which has been shunned for years over political instability.

British Airways had operated in Zimbabwe for close to 100 years.
