Flights to Paris will be launched by Wizz Air

European cheap flights carrier Wizz Air will launch new flights to Paris Beauvais from Gdansk on December 18th.Central and eastern Europe’s largest low fares airline will operate the route on an initial twice-a-week basis, with scope for this frequency to be expanded.

Wizz Air will base a third Airbus A320 at the Polish airport in order to accommodate the flight, with the aircraft also being used to increase frequencies on existing routes.It is expected that flights to Paris will prove popular with tourists and business passengers alike, with the route launching in the traditionally busy run-up to Christmas.

Elsewhere, Wizz Air will further expand its operations from Poland with the establishment of its 12th base in the city of Wroclaw.From here, the carrier will launch new flights and increase frequencies on its existing services.

Wizz Air recently announced that it will base a third aircraft in Prague from next June, allowing it to introduce further new routes.
