Flights to Japan cancelled by Thai Airways

Thai Airways International Public Company Limited announced flight adjustments as Melor Typhoon headed toward the Japanese coast. Due to the typhoon, THAI cancelled flights on the route Bangkok-Osaka and Bangkok- Nagoya.

THAI cancelled flights from Bangkok to Osaka (TG622 and TG672) and one flight to Bangkok from Osaka (TG623). In addition, THAI has cancelled one flight from Bangkok to Nagoya (TG644) and one flight from Nagoya to Bangkok (TG645). The Company provided accommodations for passengers connecting flights from THAI.

THAI will resume regular flight operations on 8 Nov 2009, when weather conditions return to normal. However, THAI has operated the following special flights:

1. On the route Bangkok-Osaka (TG6729), depart Suvarnabhumi Airport at 08.00 hrs. (local time) and arrive Osaka Airport at 15.30 hrs (local time).

2. On the route Osaka-Bangkok (TG621), depart Osaka Airport at 16.30 hrs. (local time) and arrive Suvarnabhumi Airport at 22.45 hrs (local time).

3. On the route Bangkok-Nagoya (TG6649), depart Suvarnabhumi Airport at 08.00 hrs. (local time) and arrive Nagoya Airport at 15.40 hrs (local time).

4. On the route Nagoya-Bangkok (TG645), depart Nagoya Airport at 16.40 hrs. (local time) and arrive Suvarnabhumi Airport at 20.40 hrs (local time).
THAI still operates three daily flights routed Bangkok-Osaka and one daily flight between Bangkok- Nagoya.
