British Airways will increase flights to Dubai and Johannesburg services

British Airways will increase the number of flights it operates each week from Heathrow to Dubai by almost 50% from next spring. The airline will operate 20 flights a week to the emirate instead of the current 14 from 29 March 2009. The carrier is also increasing weekly services from Heathrow to Johannesburg from 14 to 19 from 1 May 2009.

There will also be an extra flight on day on six European routes – from Heathrow to Rome, Athens, Budapest, Lisbon, Nice and Prague. The airline has also announced that it will transfer its Atlanta and Toulouse services from Gatwick to Heathrow with the start of the summer timetable.
