Accommodation
Superbly appointed villas, uniquely designed and constructed on stilts, give the resort the look of a typical Malay village. The villas are traditionally furnished with rich timbers, woven bamboo ceilings and luxurious fabrics.

Royal Bay provides a choice of 4 different luxury villa styles, each with its own distinctive architecture and surrounding environment: Hill Villas, Garden Villas, Beach Villas and Sea Villas.

Hill Villas are perched dramatically on the hillside amidst the rain forest affording spectacular views of beautiful tropical gardens, the sea and the larger island of Pangkor beyond. The villas are constructed in double storey units with two rooms on the lower and two rooms on the upper floor. The rooms on the lower floor offer a huge, deep bath in a beautiful, open courtyard and the rooms on the upper floor feature huge windows opening out to views of the rain forest.

Garden Villas are scattered throughout the foot of the hillside and set amongst the beautiful tropical gardens.

Beach Villas are clustered around the tropical gardens within a few steps of the white sandy beach Sea Villas are uniquely set on stilts over the sea linked by wooden walkways. These villas offer wonderful views of the sea and the surrounding islands with an en-suite bathroom and huge bath surrounded by windows that can be opened out to spectacular views.

Suria & Purnama Suites are situated close to the Royal Bay Sea Villas and consist of an entrance hall, separate bedroom & lounge. The lounge has huge windows with beautiful views of the sea and the island.

The Pavarotti Suite comprises a master bedroom and dining hall on the first level and two bedrooms on the second level. The suite is located on the hillside overlooking the resort and offering fabulous views of the sea and the outlying islands.

An open-air informal restaurant and bar, are perched by the water’s edge of Royal Bay.

Uncle Lim's Kitchen
It is named in honor of the Chef, Uncle Lim, who has been at the resort since its inception. Built on a rocky outcrop overlooking the sea, its superb design creates the prefect ambience for delicious Chinese- style home cooking.

Sri Lagenda Lounge
The perfect for all-day or pre-dinner drinks surrounded by the sound of the ocean.

The Samudra
Built on stilts over the sea, with breathtaking views of Royal Bay, offers a unique blend of international cuisine and a medley of classical Malay dishes.

Royal Bay Beach Club
Offers casual dining with a wide choice of light meals. Chapman's Bar at Emerald Bay is named after the famous British Colonel, Freddy Spencer Chapman who made a dramatic escape by submarine from Emerald Bay in May 1945. Chapman's Bar offers excellent light lunches.

Conference Facilities
The facilities at the resort are perfect for private executive getaways and provide for a relaxing business atmosphere. A 4,709 square foot (1,434 square meters) conference hall can accommodate any type of business event.

Sporting and Recreational Activities
