Resort is

Terengganu

and Kuantan

Originally
built in
1979, the
resort was
awarded one
of the
world’s
foremost
prizes for
architecture,
the
prestigious
Aga Khan
Award. And
although it
has recently
been
extensively
renovated to
the
standards of
a modern
deluxe
international
resort, its
original
beauty has
been
preserved,
and even
enhanced.

All cottages and suites are uniquely designed using local rich timbers and furnished to a high standard using luxurious fabrics and materials.The cottages and suites are positioned along a beautiful coastline, facing the sea, the tropical landscaped gardens and beach.Three choices of accommodation are offered:
"Anjung" (Single Storey Beach Cottage) Each cottage is approximately 88 square metres in size.They each offer a 6'6" bed plus an additional single sofa bed. This is complemented by a beautiful large sunken outdoor bath set in its own private garden. There is a large indoor shower, two vanity units and toilet facilities in the adjoining en suite. A covered terrace leading on to the gardens and beach provides a superb setting for the while away the moments during sunset.
"Serambi" (Ground Floor Suite)
These are contained within double-storey units. Each suite occupies approximately 55 sq. metres with a partially shaded terrace leading on to the gardens. A queen size bed with en suite bathroom and shower facility complements the amenities.
"Bumbung" (First Floor Suite)
This standard of accommodation is similar to the ground floor suites. However, whilst they do not provide a private terrace, this is more than made up for by the excellent views.
All rooms have colour televisions with satellite channels, IDD telephone, refrigerator, a large writing desk, hairdryer and tea & coffee making facilities.

The Tanjong Club
This brand new complex houses the gymnasium and therapy centre. State-of-the-art equipment is available in the gymnasium to suit a variety of needs, whilst the therapy complex offers various therapeutic programmes for beauty culture, relaxation, anti-fatigue and stress relief. The complex also provides Swedish, Thai and local massages including reflexology and aromatherapy.
Golf & Tennis
Guests can also enjoy playing on one of the three golf courses situated within 25 kilometres of the Resort.. The 18 hole Desa Golf Club Dungun is only a 20-minute drive away and a limited range of golf equipment is available at the sports centre for rental. Water Activities Guests can take to the sea or river for a wide variety of activities including kayaking, windsurfing, hobicat sailing, water-skiing and scuba diving from the
Water Activities
Centre located on the periphery of the beach and the resort grounds. Additionally, arrangements can be made for guests to enjoy River Boat cruises and jungle treks guided by local Naturalists.
