Clusters of cabanas with striped canvas tops are arranges strategically like a little village by the bay and around the existing forestation. The whole complex brings back the colourful and nomadic flavour of the Spice Trade era.It comprises 150 cabanas, including 28 suites stretched along the natural, hilly contours of the landscape to offer a panoramic view of the ocean.The main building houses the Lobby, the Reception, Burau Trend Souvenir & Drugstore, Burau Restaurant & Terrace, Telaga Tujuh Bar and Lounge, the two-tier Pavilion with its immense windvane, Dewan Impian Function Room and Executive Offices. Outside the main building sprawls the freeform swimming pool with the Oasis Beach Bar. In addition, there are two tennis courts and a watersports centre.

Burau Bay Resort's cabanas are constructed of lightweight, sandwich textured panelling material reinforced by blue steel structures. Colourful banners sit atop the heavy-duty, gaily striped canopies that form the roofs of the cabanas, lending and informal and carnival-like effect to the resort complex. Inside, the comfortable cabanas are tastefully furnished in modern pastel shades which blend with the rather earthy but richly grained nyatoh furniture. The Exotic drapes on the ceiling add a touch of luxury to the refreshingly simple yet elegant decor.Standard features in the cabanas include air-conditioning, low kingsize or twin beds, dressing table with writing material, and a private balcony with tea-table and chairs. The balconies open out to various views of the lush vegetation within the Resort or views of the scenic beach and bay.The newly-conceived toilet-shower combination maximises the space utilisation without taking away the enjoyment of nature's private little moments. In addition, the cabanas provide direct dial telephone, colour television, hair dryer, mini bar and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Telaga Tujuh Bar & Lounge
A lounge adjacent to the lobby, offering cocktails served in a laidback atmosphere. Evening entertainment by band complements the relaxed ambience. Seats 60 persons. Opens from 10 am to 1 am.

Oasis Beach Bar
A scenic retreat to unwind and relax with your favourite snack and thirst quench by the beachfront. Seats 60 persons by the beach. Opens from 12 noon to 7 pm.
