Location The airport is located 12km (8 miles) southwest of Dar es Salaam. Dar es Salaam's airport, Julius Nyerere International, is one of Tanzania’s three international airfields. The others are Kilimanjaro International and Zanzibar Airport. The two-terminal airport serves more than one million passengers per year. Airlines flying to the airport include British Airways and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. Terminal Transfer There are no shuttle services, but taxis are available to ferry passengers between the two terminals. Terminal 1 caters for general aviation and charter services, while Terminal 2 caters for international airlines, regional and scheduled flights. Edinburgh Airport (EDI) is Scotland's premier airport, serving about the same throughput of passengers as Glasgow Airport and providing a gateway to the capital city and the east of Scotland.
