Hosea Kutako International Airport (WDH) is located at 45km east of Windhoek. It is the main international airport of Namibia's capital and an aviation hub for the country.
Windhoek's international airport has the following facilities:

•  Money exchange facilities and a VAT refund centre
•  Post office, ATM, public telephones
•  VIP lounge with conferencing facilities
•  Duty free shopping
•  Café and restaurants

There is a shuttle service available at the airport to take the passengers to the city. Taxis and car rental service can also be used as they are also on hand.

The only airline that goes to Windhoek from UK with one stopover is South African Airways (SA). The other airlines that also operate to Windhoek include Virgin Atlantic (VS), Etihad (EY), Royal Dutch KLM (KL), Lufthansa (LH) and Qatar Airways (QR).
