The airport for Maldives is only one of its kinds. It lies 2.5km northeast of Male' (Airport Code: MLE), its capital, and is known to be as the Hulhule' Airport. The most interesting part is the runway of the airport. It runs parallel to the sea and it gives an adrenalin rush when landing as it seems the plane is landing in water.

The airport is well-equipped with the following facilities:
