The restructured Cape Town International Airport (CPT) has recently won two global awards for the Best Airport in Africa and Best Improvement in Africa, both based on passenger’s satisfaction.  The well managed, significant airport lays 22km east of Cape Town. It has 5 passenger and 2 cargo terminals with two runways. It has all the facilities required, including:

  •   Hotel reservation and tourist information desks
  •   VIP and Executive lounges

The means of transport from the airport to the city centre are the airport taxis and car rental. Other than these two, the recommended bus service is My Citi Bus which takes about 30mins to take you to the city centre.
