Banjul International Airport also known as Yundum International  is the international airport of Banjul, capital of The Gambia.

In 2004, the airport served 967,719 passengers.

In the event of an emergency on any of the NASA Space Shuttles, Banjul International Airport had been selected as an augmented landing site. The Gambia was the perfect location when the shuttle was launched with a low, 28-degree inclination. Banjul International airport is fast becoming West Africas new hub, as airlines all over the world are interested in the safe and secure airport, with its brilliant facilities.

Several airlines serve this airport, offering flights within the region and to Europe. The new, modern terminal provides adequate facilities, but passengers must pay a departure tax when leaving the country. BJL is located 17 mi/27 km from the city.
