South Australia's city of Adelaide is simple to reach by air from all over Australia and the world. Adelaide Airport (ADL) is close to central Adelaide and is the fourth largest domestic airport in Australia, and Adelaide Airport (ADL) is also the sixth largest international airport.
Handling more than four million passengers each year, Adelaide Airport (ADL) is South Australia's premier airport gateway, with world-class airport facilities.
Getting to the city: The Skylink Airport Shuttle services the Terminal and provides transport at a reasonable fare to the Adelaide CBD and major city hotels. A public bus service is also available to the city with connections to rail and other bus routes. There are three taxi ranks at the airport with metered taxis taking about 20 minutes to the city centre.
Car ParkingA public car park is conveniently located immediately outside T1. Long-term car parking is available remote from the terminal and is served by shuttle bus every 20 minutes. Valet parking is also available.
Airport Facilities
Money and communications: There are several bureaux de change, public telephones and ATMs, as well as free Internet access throughout T1. Paid for Wi-Fi access is available at gates and in lounges.
Eating and drinking: There are restaurants, bars and cafes at the airport.
Shopping: There are plenty of shops in T1, including a chemist's, newsagents, clothing and gift shops, as well as duty-free shops.
Luggage: Lockers are available adjacent to the car rental offices in the car park. Lost property enquiries should be directed to (tel: (08) 8154 9468).
Other facilities: There is a children's playroom and a prayer room on the departures level.
