Ethiopia's Bole International Airport (ADD) is located 8km southeast of Addis Ababa in Bole. It is considered to be a potential connecting airport to other parts of Africa via Ethiopian Airline (ET) and is also one of the busiest airports. Bole International Airport is the main centre for pilot training and aircraft maintenance. There is a strict security check before you enter the airport.

The facilities, though not enough, include:

•  first-aid facility

Cream colored government taxis are available at the arrival terminal and can be hired to get to the city centre. Car rental service can also be availed for the journey.
